Cohen Eugene Larsen,
Oh how this year went by so fast and you have grown so much, I can't believe you are already one. I wish I could keep you little forever but I am also excited to see the man you will become one day. I want you to know how much I love you. Heavenly Father has given me the most precious gift by sending you to me and I feel so blessed and honored to be your mommy. Your existence has filled my life with so much happiness and love and my daily goal is to love and make you happy too. I promise to strive to be the best mother for you, to be patient when I'm frustrated, and to teach you to live your life on the path of righteousness. You are my angel, my lovebug, and I will love you forever!

COHEN'S BIRTHDAY IS ACTUALLY TOMORROW, HOWEVER IT WORKED BEST TO CELEBRATE IT TODAY. WE HAD A FROG PARTY FOR HIM WITH LOTS OF 'HOPPIN' FUN.

Our New Prophet

I'm so excited to listen to our new prophet, President Monson, speak this weekend. I love to listen to him talk because he has so many cool stories. Not only that, but he is a great story teller. His voice fluctuates with the story, he accentuates words to bring them to life. I can almost picture him around the campfire telling little children about adventures he's had and seeing each of them hanging on to every word with enthusiasm. I can't wait to feel that way this weekend, to listen with wonder and awe. These men are called of God. They bring messages to us to council us and bring us closer to our Heavenly Father. I'm grateful for our new prophet, President Monson, and his love for this wonderful gospel. I hope you all enjoy this exciting conference weekend as much as I will.

Cohen's little friend Cannon just had his first birthday. We were invited to his party and these are the cute pictures that Lauren took. Cohen tried to give Cannon a kiss but we weren't quick enough with the camera. Happy Birthday Cannon!!!
