This was our favorite beach. there is a fresh water river running into this bay. it is so pretty.

right behind it is waimea falls. pretty and short walk to see a beautiful waterfall. http://www.hawaiiweb.com/html/waimea_valley_adventure_park.html

we snorkeled here for an easy beginners place. quite a lot of fish too.

if you like shopping and like good deals hit up the swap meet. they are only open for part of the week. http://oahu.aloha-hawaii.com/dining/oahu+swap+meets/

the pearl harbor memorial is a must see. it is amazing to see that ship still underwater and still leaking the original oil from the day of the attack.

if you have troubles finding a place to get to the ocean look closely for signs that say "ocean or beach access". Usuallly there is a small trail behind someones home that will take you to the beach! I am just so excited to hear about your adventures on Oahu.
Wohoo! If you want to check out my pics from there you are more than welcome.

I don't know much about Kauai but this looked like a lot of fun to check out!
